The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Table

Since the launch of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of characters, and a thrilling plot including angels, evil spirits, and dark forces expanding in power within the city.

Note: Spoilers for the latest installment of this adventure are included.

The Warrior Group Revealed

Episode 3 finished on a major cliffhanger and revealed the premier party of characters who will separate from the central cast to embark on their own adventure, distinct from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), the cleric (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

With 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that keeping everyone at a single group would be impossible.

This explains, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the personal journeys before splitting into three separate parties: Fighters, Strategists, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

As described by the DM, the combat-focused party is for participants who enjoy a classically intense combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might look unsuited, but the developments of episode 3 demonstrate why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a violent opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose demise started the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his own means, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the character, and stealing all the powerful objects to auction.

The traitor then cleared his debts and escaped to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, north of the city, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each adventurer has a specific drive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and closest confidant, seeks revenge.
  • Kattigan knows the region and warns that it is a nasty place.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to kill Teor and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their status as prominent individuals in the powerful family could assist the party access areas they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the powers that govern Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and Wicander turned against House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the clan.

This leaves them no alternative but to travel to the northern region in search of the traitor.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s follow-up content, we find out that the combat party will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the participants to round up the Seekers and Strategists groups.

Fans can look forward to discovering which players will be in which group in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
